Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the clipitcoach.com website, the ClipItCoach web application, and the ClipItCoach mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”), operated by ClipItCoach (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ClipItCoach lets coaches and players upload or link game footage, create tagged clips, share them within a team, and export highlight videos. Features vary by subscription plan as described on our pricing page.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Players under 18 should use the Service with the knowledge of a parent, guardian, or club.
  • Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed per team, monthly or annually, through Stripe (web) or Google Play (Android).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from the Settings or Team page (web) or through Google Play (Android). Your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time unless required by law.
  • When a subscription ends, the team reverts to the Free plan and its limits. Your existing content is preserved.
  • Prices may change; we will give you reasonable advance notice before a change affects an active subscription.

4. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the videos, clips, notes, and other content you add to the Service.
  • You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, streaming your videos to your team and rendering clip exports).
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any footage you upload or link, including consent from people who appear in it where required.
  • Content shared within a team is visible to that team's members according to the visibility settings you choose.
  • YouTube-linked videos are played through YouTube's embedded player and are subject to YouTube's own terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use;
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others;
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts, teams, or content without authorisation;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to circumvent plan limits or security measures;
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Account Deletion & Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleting your account cancels the subscriptions you pay for and removes your personal data and content as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, after notice where practical.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by ClipItCoach and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work hard to keep the Service reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost. You should keep your own copies of original footage.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipItCoach will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
